When I first started teaching in the WCSD, my assignment was to teach music at two elementary schools. I have come full circle and now again am teaching music at two elementary schools. That circle, however, has taken me to many experiences: 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade, Technology Rep, Reading Recovery Specialist and back to music. If it is indeed a circle, I guess I like being well-rounded. My passions are children's literature and music; being able to combine the two is fun and rewarding. The students love to revisit musical literature pieces they've experienced in previous years.
Outside of my love for teaching, is my first love - a family of six children and 20 grandchildren and of course my spouse.
