Tech Tools To Challenge Gender Stereotypes
Boys and girls learn differently, but what they learn is the same. With so many tech tools to choose from can the classroom teacher use technology to inspire all students without perpetuating gender stereotypes? In this presentation we will provide an overview of brain research surrounding the myths and stereotypes of how boys and girls learn, and then share a variety of tech tools that address the needs of all students to inspire learning and creativity without perpetuating the same gender stereotypes. Audience members will participate throughout the activity using social media and instructional technology tools.
